Refund policy

Returns

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to start a return.

To be accepted, a ring has to be unworn, in the condition it arrived in, and in its original packaging. We cannot accept a ring that has been worn, resized, scratched, or had its finish worn down.

To start a return, email hello@forgetmenotatelier.com with your order number. We will send you a return address and instructions. Do not send a ring back before you have heard from us: returns sent to an unconfirmed address cannot be refunded.

Who pays return shipping

You pay return shipping on a change of mind or a sizing return. We pay it when the ring arrived damaged, faulty, or was not the ring you ordered.

Damaged or wrong items

Check your order when it arrives. If a ring is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, email us within 7 days with a photo and we will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping.

Sizing exchanges

Our sized bands are closed bands and cannot be resized. If you ordered the wrong size, send the ring back unworn within 30 days and we will exchange it for the right size. You cover the return shipping, we cover sending the new one out.

Open bands adjust to fit and have no size, so there is nothing to exchange. If an open band does not sit right, it is a standard 30-day return.

Multi-buy orders

If you used the Buy 2, Save 15% discount and return one ring from the pair, the discount no longer applies to the ring you keep. We refund what you paid for the returned ring, less the discount that was applied to it.

What we cannot take back

- Rings that have been worn
- Rings outside the 30-day window
- Gift cards
- Sale items marked final sale

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we have checked it, we will refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take longer than that to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you have not seen it, email us.

Original shipping costs are not refunded unless the return is our fault.
